Introducing myself - An old new project

    Luckily, I have many friends and acquaintances not native Spanish speakers, or even not at all Spanish speakers. So, for all of them, and for all the people finding this blog for the first time, I will translate, as far as I can, the posts to English.

So here I begin.

    After a long time dealing with the idea of writing a blog, this time is the time and here I am.  A blog to tell things about all that I’m interested in. A blog to share discoveries and concerns.

    A blog to make room to this hobby for some, vice for others, that is creating things. Because it comes a time when you don’t need more scarfs, mittens or hats, or that marvellous shawl you’ve seen in that journey…. But you can’t avoid the instinct of doing them. Is a challenge. Achieve to make real all those drawings and projects boiling in your head.

    My name is Mónica, and my academic training has nothing to do with craftwork and handicrafts, but I think what we study doesn’t define who we are. I love knitting, crocheting, sewing, creating… Since my grandmother taught me to make the first chain, and my mother taught me how to cast on, it has been a challenge to learn another pattern, doing scarfs and then pullovers, learn to make those beautiful lace…

    So I open this blog, to show you my creations, to share skills and knowledge, and, I’m not going to deceive you, to attempt to get some earnings from this bad habit of collecting beautiful yarns and knitted clothes.
