Aprendiendo a tejer (II): Punto derecho y punto bobo / Learning to knit (II): knit and garter stitch

   Una vez que ya sabemos montar los puntos, hay que empezar a tejer nuestra labor. El primer punto que vamos a aprender es el punto derecho o punto del derecho. En este video os enseño cómo hacerlo.

   Once you know how to cast-on your stitches, you have to begin to knit your project. The first stitch to learn is knit stitch. In this video I show you how to do it.

 

   Y simplemente sabiendo tejer del derecho, ya podemos hacer el primer punto de nuestro muestrario : el punto bobo. También llamado punto musgo o punto Santa Clara. Consiste en hacer todas las vueltas con punto derecho. El resultado es el que podéis ver aquí.

   And just knitting, you can already do the first pattern of our collection : garter stitch. It consists on knitting all the stitches in all the rows. Here you can see the result.

           

             

   Este es un punto reversible, es decir, los dos lados de la labor quedan iguales. Esto puede importarnos o no dependiendo de lo que estemos tejiendo.

   This is a reversible stitch, both sides looks the same. This can be important or not, depending on what we are knitting.
